Okay, so…

Young Mammals are from Houston and they rule.
The Big Big Bucks are from Boston and I love them.
Drummers sounds like a supercool idea, with one current and one ex-member of Pretty & Nice.
Cotton Candy are Cambridge’s own vocordering bedroom-pop duo.

House of Blues Front Room, tooonight. FOR FREE. 8 PM.

Seriously. I’m sitting on my stoop drinking coffee and listening to Wavves. My neighbor has five puppies and there are funny birds everywhere.

And then there’s the fact that I’m surrounded by shows. Did you go to one last night? I don’t know how I learned to like punk but Dear Landlord/Off With Their Heads ruuuuled.

And then there’s tonight!

After I’m done with this I’m gonna go get a ticket and buy another coffee with the $2 I’m saving. I’ve talked about Young Adults before, if you pay any attention you know I like em a bunch. They’re playing with Ohio’s Cloud Nothings (check out On A Friday’s interview with the dudes) and California’s Wavves. 8:30 PM, 18+, $10 adv/$12 door.

If I don’t see you there, it better be because you’re at the Chinese Telephones, Tenement, Boyfriends, Credentials show. I can’t tell you where it is but I can tell you that it will also be excellent. 7 PM $5.

Hot damn. I gotta go, I’m getting sunburned.

you got me hummin’

eek I realize I’ve been pretty lax about this blog lately…. Summer has descended and it makes staying inside with a hot computer in your face really hard.

Anyways, I am pretty okay at remembering to update Twitter with shows, so I refer you to THIS for the time being. There’s a show you should be at in 2 and a half hours, get thee to our Twitter to find out more.

Where Am I?
