oh, february

February 2, 2010 § Leave a comment

Honestly. This is the month of being bored and cold and probably sick. It’s my bad month. But, this year we’re going to laugh in the face of February, right guys? My mind is spinning with things to do and I really don’t think it can get any colder than it did on Friday.

Here’s a cool thing to keep you occupied all month long. Mike Fiore of Faces on Film is, according to his Twitter (oh, I do love Twitter), going to put a new cover song on his MySpace every day this month. That’s 28 covers! After a bit of investigation, it seems that both Mr. Sister and Tony The Bookie are also going to do a cover a day. I like this, a lot.

Go to Faces on Film right now to find his cover of Arthur Russell’s ‘Nobody Wants a Lonely Heart’, Mr. Sister for Lady Gaga’s ‘Bad Romance’, and Tony The Bookie for Lee Hazlewood’s ‘The Night Before’.  WHO KNOWS what they’ll post tomorrow!
