boston // this has been a disaster

Thanks for having us.
What a rad idea. Steve Almond (author, Rock and Roll Will Save Your Life) and Ryan Walsh (singer/guitarist in Hallelujah the Hills) have joined forces to produce a monthly podcast in which they talk shop with three musicians. This isn’t the usual “this is how you book a show” and “how much should I get paid” kinda shop, but rather the bad bits, the funny parts, the awkward situations.
Check out the two previous podcasts here!
If this sparks your interest, they’re doing it live (it’d be wrong any other way!) at Toad tonight, with:
Chris Brokaw (Come, Codeine)
Ben Potrykus (Girlfriends)
Amy Correia

Shows like this one are not helping my newest bout of Boston-sickness.

Skimask
Amoroso
Mentira Mentira
$5. 5 PM.
Amoroso was one of the first local bands I ever saw in Allston. PBR is bringing presents of beer. Starlab is an excellent space. I am so jealous.
